Issues: Unemployed and Low-Income Entitlements and the Safety Net Health Insurance

As a state senator, I will fight to make sure all seniors are adequately cared for in their golden years. This means that I will make sure that Medicaid is adequately funded and that health care exchanges provide affordable options for those seeking private health insurance in our state.

I will also fight to protect PERS or the Public Employees Retirement System so that our state employees and retirees can rest assurded that the promised 13th check will be there after years of dedicated public service in the state of Mississippi.
